Norfolk, VA – Car Accident Causes Injuries on I-264 at MM 7.7 & Waterside Dr

Norfolk, VA (June 9, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a car accident that occurred on Wednesday evening, June 9, police said in a news release.

The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. on Interstate 264 near mile marker 7.7, close to the Waterside Drive exit in Norfolk. Paramedics were at the scene to transport injured victims, though the total number of individuals involved is unknown.

Further details have not been released, but police say that their investigation is ongoing.
