Norfolk, VA – Injuries Occur in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-264 at Tidewater Dr

Norfolk, VA (May 30, 2022) – An automobile collision in the Norfolk region on Monday evening, May 30, resulted in the injury of at least one person.

The collision occurred at 11:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 264 between mile marker 8.0 and Exit 10 to Tidewater Drive, according to Norfolk Police Department officials. According to police, one of the people involved sustained moderate injuries and was sent to a local hospital for treatment. It’s unclear if the victim was a passenger or a driver.

Officers did not disclose precise specifics about what caused the accident, but they did state that two automobiles were involved and crashed in the highway’s right lanes.
