Norfolk, VA (June 11, 2021) – Officers with the Norfolk Police Department are investigating a crash that sent one person to the hospital early Friday morning, June 11.
Per reports from authorities, the crash involved a car and a bicycle and occurred at Hampton Boulevard and West 27th Street. Authorities were dispatched to the scene around 4:45 a.m. The events leading up to the accident are still unclear, though EMTs say they transported a man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital via ambulance. Police say that the victim sustained injuries considered life-threatening.
Those involved in the wreck have not been identified, but Norfolk officers say that the incident is still under investigation at this time.
