Norfolk, VA (March 28, 2022) – Authorities with Norfolk Fire & Rescue and Norfolk Police Department officers are asking for the public’s help in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a person with injuries on Sunday evening, March 27.
Police said the two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Bluestone Avenue and West 42nd Street around midnight. Upon their arrival at the scene, NPD officers discovered one of the drivers fled the scene.
EMTs transported a passenger, who was traveling in the other vehicle, to a local medical center. The extent of their injuries is unknown, but they are expected to recover. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing, and police have not provided information about the suspect driver or their vehicle.
