Norfolk, VA – Several Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-64 at I-264

Norfolk, VA (June 7, 2022) – At least one person was injured in an automobile collision in the Norfolk area on Tuesday evening, June 7.

According to Norfolk Police, the vehicle wreck occurred just before 6:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 64. The drivers collided near mile marker 285.3 and Exit 284B to I-264 eastbound. NPD officers noted that one of the drivers or passengers involved sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby medical institution for additional treatment.

Officers did not disclose specifics on what caused the accident, but they did state that two motorists were involved and crashed in the right lanes of the highway.

The collision is still being investigated, and no additional information about the individuals involved has been provided.
