Portsmouth, VA (September 29, 2021) – Two men were killed during a multi-vehicle car accident near Norfolk Naval Shipyard on Wednesday, September 28th.
According to emergency communications, the accident took place at about 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of George Washington Highway and Effingham Street in Portsmouth.
Upon their arrival, fire crews discovered one person trapped in their vehicle and two men who were pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was reopened at about 7:00 a.m.
No additional details have been released.
