Car Accidents in Virginia

Every day, more than 180 people are injured in vehicle accidents in the Commonwealth of Virginia. These accidents often leave victims severely injured and force them into area hospitals. In many cases, victims are left with brain injuries, spinal cord damages, and broken bones. Not only do victims endure painful injuries that prevent them from engaging in various activities, but they often face tens of thousands of dollars in medical treatment for their injuries while being forced out of work to recover. Victims often require extensive and expensive medical treatment to help them recover from their injuries.

The unfortunate truth is that there is no guarantee that victims will fully recover from their injuries. As a result, thousands of people are left permanently disabled due to the extent of their injuries. Although many drivers take action to avoid harming others, there is no way to control the actions of others. In fact, more than 80% of collisions in our state are a result of a negligent or reckless driver. Many accidents in our state are caused by drivers who are texting while operating their vehicles, engaging with others in the car, changing the radio, driving impaired, and acting negligently and recklessly. When victims are harmed in accidents, due to the negligence of others, it is crucial that they reach out to a truck accident attorney in Virginia as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation to help alleviate the financial burdens they face moving forward after being harmed in an accident.
