Virginia Beach, VA (November 16, 2021) – At least one person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle along Interstate 264 in Virginia Beach on Tuesday evening, November 16.
Virginia State Police say the accident happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-264. Around that time, a pedestrian was reportedly walking near the Witchduck Road exit when they were hit.
The victim, whose identifying details were not provided, was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital via ambulance for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation, and further information has not been provided at this time.
