Virginia Beach, VA (June 10, 2021) – Virginia Beach officers are actively investigating a pedestrian accident that left one woman seriously injured on Saturday evening.
Per reports from authorities, emergency crews were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. to Pacific Avenue. Shortly before, a female bicyclist was crossing the intersection of Pacific Avenue and 11th Street when she was hit by a dark-colored SUV. The woman sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital via ambulance. Police did not say whether charges are pending and have not released the woman’s current condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
