Virginia Beach, VA – One Injured in Pedestrian Accident at 1500 Independence Blvd

Virginia Beach, VA (March 22, 2021) – Crews in Virginia Beach responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Saturday afternoon, March 20.

Dispatchers said that the call came in at 4:50 p.m. The incident occurred at the 1500 block of Independence Boulevard.

Officials say there were injuries reported and specific details about the victim were not provided, though they were transported to an area medical center for treatment and evaluation.

It is not known if the driver remained on the scene. At this time, the Virginia Beach Police Department is investigating the accident.
