Virginia Beach Multiple-Vehicle Wrecks & Injuries

According to traffic analysts and researchers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, just over one thousand people lost their lives in car accidents in Virginia in the previous year. Since these occurrences, a total of 65,000 people have been badly wounded. Worse, the effects of the trauma endured by victims are typically long-lasting on both the physical and emotional levels.

And to make matters more alarming, in Virginia, the majority of collisions are caused by one of the following careless driving habits:

  • Excessive speed is a factor in more than half of the state’s fatal crashes.
  • Most other fatal vehicle accidents in the state are caused by drivers who have consumed alcohol or drugs.
  • Additionally, texting while driving is a significant cause of accidents because of distracted driving.

When you are behind the wheel, you should never stop doing your best effort to protect yourself and others around you, but you can’t always rely on other drivers to do the same. Tens of thousands of individuals are unable to go back to work or conduct their usual lives, and the fundamental causes of this situation are the same, regardless of the severity or location of such an auto accident.

These patients often need ongoing medical care and rehabilitation, which might take many months or even several years to complete. As a direct result of this, victims may be required to pay tens of thousands of dollars out of their own pockets in order to resolve the situation.

Consequently, if you are injured in an automobile accident for which you bear no responsibility, you may be entitled to financial compensation. As soon as possible, we highly urge that you and your family get in contact with an experienced Virginia Beach personal injury attorney.
