Virginia Beach, VA (August 13, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Wednesday evening left one person seriously injured in the Virginia Beach area. At approximately 9:15 p.m., on August 12, the Virginia Beach Police responded to the scene of a crash on Shore Drive.
Reports provided by authorities show that a pedestrian was walking in the 3600 block of Shore Drive when they were struck by a car. The pedestrian sustained critical and life-threatening injuries in the accident. The pedestrian was rushed from the site of the accident to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
