Injury Car Accidents in Virginia

Every year, approximately 1,000 people are killed in motor vehicle accidents across the Commonwealth of Virginia, according to officials. Unfortunately, another 65,000 people are seriously injured as a result of these crashes.
Sadly, long after an auto accident occurs, victims experience long-term health difficulties or emotional anguish. This is especially true if they have had a traumatic brain injury (TBI), a serious fracture or broken bone, a spinal cord injury, or other catastrophic injuries.
It’s all too clear that, as a result of these serious accidents, victims face drastic limitations going forward.
And though serious motor vehicle accidents can happen for a variety of reasons, the majority of accidents fall under one of three causes. These causes include but are not limited to speeding, drunk driving, and violating other traffic laws. Even if you strive to protect yourself and others while on the road, you cannot guarantee that others will act responsibly.
Thankfully, if you sustain injuries in an accident that’s occurred through no fault of your own, you may have legal recourse. You and your family can reach out to a car accident attorney in Norfolk. Contacting an attorney in the aftermath of your accident is essential. Plus, you may find that you are entitled to compensation, which can help you cover your financial burdens.
